VersuSports provides a real-time scoreboard and related tools for racquet and paddle sports. You can reach us about privacy at info@versusports.com.

We keep data collection minimal. We collect:

• Match information — scores, timestamps, match events, and settings created when a match is run on the Service.
• Device identifiers — a technical ID assigned to the phone, tablet, or browser used to control or display a match, so the right device controls the right scoreboard.
• Player labels (optional) — if this feature is turned on, short labels such as a first name or initials that someone types in to identify who is playing. You choose whether to enter these.
• Basic technical and log data — standard information your browser or device sends automatically, such as IP address, browser type, and basic usage logs, used to operate and secure the Service.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your personal information. We don't intentionally collect more personal information than we need to run the scoreboard.

We use the information above to:

• Operate the scoreboard and keep matches running correctly across devices;
• Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Service;
• Understand how the Service is used and improve our products, including developing features such as player rankings and leaderboards;
• Communicate with venues and users about the Service; and
• Comply with law and protect our legal rights.

We don't sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers — companies that host and run our infrastructure (for example, our cloud hosting and database providers) process data on our behalf so the Service can function.
• Public match views — if you share a public live-scoreboard link, the live score and any on-screen labels for that match are visible to anyone with the link. The link stops working when the match ends.
• Legal and safety — when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
• Business transfer — if VersuSports is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We keep information for as long as needed to run the Service and for the purposes described here, then delete or de-identify it when it's no longer needed. You can ask us to delete information associated with you or your matches by emailing info@versusports.com.

The Service is intended for use by venues and adult operators, and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because matches may involve players of any age, please do not enter the name or personal details of a child as a player label without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child's information has been provided to us, contact info@versusports.com and we will delete it.

You can choose not to enter player labels, and you can ask us to access or delete information associated with you by emailing info@versusports.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws — including, for Oregon residents under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, the right to know, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. We honor these rights as required by law; contact us to exercise them.

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be reflected on our website.
