01What does it cost?
Pricing is per court, per month, with the Smart VS Sign and brackets included. Most multi-court venues land between $29 and $59 per court / month depending on facility size and contract length.
There's no hardware purchase, no setup fee, and no separate software license. Cancel anytime — we'll send a return label for the signs.
02How long does install take, and who does it?
About 20 minutes per court. Your maintenance team can do it with a drill and the included hardware — no certified installer required. We send a one-page install guide and a short video.
For 8+ court venues, we'll fly out and do the install ourselves at no charge during pilot programs.
03Do players need to download an app?
No app required to watch a match — spectators just open a link in their browser. Players who want to score with Apple Watch download the free VersuSports app, which takes about 30 seconds.
For walk-up casual play, the QR code on the sign opens a web-based scorer that works on any phone. No download, no signup.
04Which sports do you support today?
Pickleball and tennis are live today, with full ruleset support — singles, doubles, side switches, tiebreakers, and standard scoring formats for both.
Padel and platform tennis are on the near-term roadmap. If you run a mixed-use facility, we can deploy today on your pickleball and tennis courts and add the others as they ship.
05Who owns the data from my courts?
You do. Match data, player counts, and utilization metrics generated at your venue are yours — exportable as CSV, available via API on request.
Player profiles belong to the players themselves, per standard data privacy practice. We don't sell data to third parties or share it across venues without explicit player consent.
06What happens if a sign breaks?
Every Smart VS Sign is backed by a 2-year replacement warranty. If one cracks, fades, or fails, we ship a replacement within 48 hours — no questions, no fee, no downtime negotiation.
Because the sign is fully passive (no electronics inside), there's nothing to maintain or update. The most common "issue" we see is a player drawing on it with a Sharpie.
